corris
I would love to see the VOR going and hopefully the corris railway completed to machynlleth
because if it is a modern representation as it claims to be shoudn't it go where the real railway aims to be

Hi Manx Peacock is back !!
Yep, I been working away home for such along time, it's nice to be back on my little island once again... You can tell when your home - the sun is shining and its raining all at the same time - oh the joys of the Isle of Man weather !!
Anyway - as you can guess I am for an Isle of Man route, and if anybody wants a crack at it I am more than willing to help with plans, pictures etc seeing as I live there !!
As for period - Isle of Man Railway is timeless and the only way you know that you are in the 21st century is the hi-vis vests on the train crews and the modern cars on the ajoining roads - apart from that you can't really tell the difference between 2005, 1905 and 1873. Well, the trees are taller and there are some modern houses but that's being picky.
Most people like the post war 1940s/50s with the Indian red locos and blood and custard carriages - the same livery as they are running in now.
Cheers
David
Just whet those taste buds - Isle of Man Railway 1905 built Beyer Peacock 2-4-0T No. 10 'G.H.. Wood' in Indian red with a blood and custard set heads south to Port Soderick just last weekend - looks good huh? You know you want it !!

Totally narrow minded and a Isle of Man Railway nutter....
railways@manx.net
Don't forget the Isle of Man has more narrow gauge than you can wave a stick at. Steam - Diesel - Electric and even Horse power - Visitors most welcome...........

Romney, Hythe and Dychurch Railway
I would love to see someone make the Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway availble to all the members on UKTrainSim.com, I think that the RH&DR route for MSTS would be a very popular download.
So far i've been on the RH&DR about 8 times in my life so far (considering that i'm coming up to 15 years old soon), I have also been on the Isle of Man Steam Railway, but I find the RH&DR alot more fun.
I hope you choose the RH&DR.
Plus I had posted message about making a RH&DR route for MSTS, not long ago, on the Forums.

We've certainly got plans to do the IoM, I would hardly say they are drawn up, but we're floating ideas around over in the SPTS camp, at the moment though its all systems go on the WHR
... thats the main priority, and we're doing very well
.
I think once ive done WHR i'll be waiting for the new breed of simulators to come out; I dont want to start an "Is MSTS over?" debate here; just that in the time span it takes to make a route, and certainly something like the IoM, which when it will hopefully include the Steam, Electric, Snaefell (sorry William) and possibly even the Horse Trams will be 3 times the route mileage of the WHR. Thats a lot of work and will take a long time... id rather wait and use a new sim than spend 18 months working away to find its been made for what is then an obsolete sim namely MSTS.
Yes the IoM will get done, but dont excpect it anytime soon, and probably not for the generation of train sims we're using now.
