Thanks Jur for taking the time to read this thread. Without the animatin section, the wheels no longer drop or rise into the carriages. The problem would occur regardless of which engine coupler was used (front or back), they didn't even have to be coupled to the engine in question but just sitting within eyeshot. Curious. But Decapod was kind enough to straighten out the problem. Don't know why nobody has experienced this before. The R&C wagons have such large, spoked wheels that it is hard to miss when it occurs.fadedGlory wrote:Sorry for coming a bit late to this conversation![]()
I haven't been into MSTS for some time now due to a relocation to Australia...
Anyway, enough sorry excuses![]()
I haven't seen the problem with the wheels myself, but as so often in MSTS what happens in one setup doesn't happen in another. I am curious to know what changes Decapod has made to the .s files. I may want to upload corrected versions if this problem is seen by more people.
Glad you enjoy R&C and Southwold!

One thing you may want to examine regarding R&C is the petrol tractor's brakes. They just do not work despite being lifted directly from the R&C steam locos. That may be a clue! Take the tractor and set its brake to 100% and open the throttle. Off it goes easy as you please. I replaced the entire brake section with one from a diesel for the time being.
As for Southwold and Thaxted, I have recently downloaded both and consider them most excellent additions to my route library. I appreciate the shortline routes and their definite "sense of place" that long routes seldom have. Love the detail and little touches you give your routes.
Regards,
Steve
