Erm!! Well Yes and no!
There has been progress, I've started laying track but won't post any pictures until all of the track has been layed, I'm laying the 3ft first as that will be the main route I use for activities, I'll then lay the 2ft line which will run from one end of the 3ft line to the industrial complex finally the SG line will be layed at the other end of the 3ft line which will run for a fair distance and be useful for AI tains in activities or a general drive behind any loco you wish. The ,most positive thing I have to report about the Route is that the first locomotive reskin has permission for upload and will be finished off during the day tomorrow (It's the Diema Diesel and will be the First of two of these!)
I'm currently looking for some 3ft and 2ft locomotives (steam and diesel) that I can reskin for the route, any suggestions would be greatly recieved I'd espescially like a truescale Hunslet tank (port or quarry class) for the 2ft line but do not know if there is a patch available.
Senery wise, nothing has been layed, not even the Manor house, as I wish to get the tracks down first before placing buildings, plants and the like! When I get to this stage I'll show some pictures.

OK, I know I said I was not going to do this but...

The first screenshot of build three! This shows the area where the 2ft and 3ft lines will form an interchange yard, currently only the 3ft lines are down. Loco testing the route is the Diema diesel which I'm still working on.
Terrain is DEMed so by the hills, can you guess what region the line is set in?
Oh yes, there is one fierce gradient as you leave the Manor region (down hill all the way, to get to the valley floor and the village! It's fun going UP the hill!

Even more news today!

Yesterday I recieved a PM off of Kevin Martin Giving me permission to use his Lilla Model as a basis for the 2ft Gauge Steamer so after just one day's work I will now show the loco Thion!

This picture was taken in the shade side, now for one in the light!

This will be the only 2ft Gauge steamer, all the other 2ft locos will be diesels!

The upload will include two versions, 2X and truescale (Gives you a chance to run Thion on the FR!)
Hope you like! :)

Nice. I wonder if Kevin will let us reskin it into other liveries? Penrhyn Black still hasn't been done - and it is rummour that the locomotive was originally green when at the Cilgwyn Quarry on Moel Tryfan.

A bit like this Bruce?

Just a two minute knock up using Kevins lining and a little extra work by myself (Getting the green to look right!)
This definately will not be uploaded, unless Kevin requests it of me! Though personaly I believe he could do a better and more accurate version, I've guessed the linning as I have no photographs.
I'm still working on Thion, primarily in the linning department, I wish to make it more personal rather than keep the original linning I wish to make it more (whats the word?) Flambouyant? Elegant!
I may include a second .ACE file with a Black backed Name plate for people with the experience to use if they prefer.
Now all I need is some little diesels (thinking of the Simplex four pack without reskinning them!) and some coaches in both 2ft and 3ft oh and some 3ft steamers!
I'm having fun, doing two things at once!

As a final preview before I go to bed, I have now concluded work on Thion, so I'll give you a nice sunset image of Thion from the side with the sunlight glinting off of her nice new paintwork,

Personaly I think she looks brilliant, all I need to do tommorrow is edit the parts of the ENG file that need editing and await Kevin's aproval for the skin, he has given permission, I just wish to hear from him to see if he approves of this skin for the Lilla model!

Saturday's work is laying the 2ft Line for Thion to run on!!!

EDIT:

Here's the rear shot showing the lining on the backsheet of the cab, I had to simplfy one corner as there is a box that is in the way (the darker area!)
Hope you all like!

Interesting lining work, similar to Talyllyn No.7 Tom Rolt, when it was repainted with pointy bits on the corners. That 'box' on the back of the engine methinks is to accomodate the handbrake handle in the cab.

We also need to do the black with red electrical insulation tape lining version of lilla. Chris is right the box is to fit the handbrake in.

Andrew, I'll do the job for you if you allow me to reskin your battery loco, I've a beautiful name for it! The welsh for silence!
One point about the lining, the left bottom corner on the larger part of the cab back sheet (hope you understood that!) needs the lining made to match the right hand side as at present I think it looks a little out of balance, so I'll work on that in a short while. As I said, I want to know what Kevin thinks about my reskin before I upload it so that you can have a play with Thion on which ever truescale route that you like, or even the FR route, as I'm leaving the 2X scale version in for people who don't like truescale but want the engine!

A more balanced look to the rear of the engine
All I need to do now is edit the .eng file to stop the truescale loco taking off at speed with the regulator at 3%!

William, I'm learning Welsh, well teaching myself anyhow, very useful if (like me) you happen to become sick in Wales and end up in hospital  or (also like me) you'll be over in Wales from next tuesday helping Eileen Clayton with the Great Canopy Caper at Harbour Station for a whole week
Having an older brother who lives and works in Wales helps too :D especially as he works at Boston lodge and is one of the highest paid members of staff  he is also famous, he's got THREE photos in the current Steam Railway Mag! His name (spelt correctly by SR unlike the FR Mag!) Glenn Williams  My hero!

Saw Glenn the other weekend - was very busy mind (he works hard for his money believe you me!) so no time for a chat but the work they do in the carriage works is amazing - I hope I'll get to know both him and the works better over the summer.

Thion looks superb - really very good. The green on Lilla is also bang on (how did you know that!) but the lining could be tricky - only one photo exists and its difficult to tell what the lining is like.

Bruce,

If you could get a copy of the photo and then send me a version via E-Mail I would willingly try to recreate the livery in full, after all, I've already got the green right all I need to find is the linning
Getting the green right wasn't too diffucult however, I just kept trying different shades until it looked right, and thankfully it is right!
Yes Glenn does work hard, hopefully I'll get chance next week to go into BL and look at the latest products! Especially Spooners Parlour car! Oh and 102!
