Ffestiniog Rly Loco "Prince"

Post by kevmt »

The above loco can now be downloaded from the Ffestiniog's website at:-

http://www.festrail.co.uk

The loco is the third and (hopefully) more accurate model of Prince I have made and depicts it in it's present condition.
It should automatically appear in any consists that you may have made with the previous version of the loco.

Cheers

Thanks, David. I'm glad you like it.

Jonathon, version 3 is a much more detailed version of how Prince looks today. Version 2 was much cruder and more akin to how Prince looked in the 1930's.

Looking excellent as usual Kevin!

I've recently been playing with your models of the WHR Garratts, which look amazing. The super detailed motion looks like it must have taken days just by itself!

Cheers

Thanks for the comments.
The Garratts did take rather a long time to make, Richard!

There are no truescale patches included with Prince or on the Ffest website. I will try and put a patch on this site at a later date.

Superb. The only word for it. Hopefully one day I'll be able to produce models like that!

Thanks for the drawing Kevin. But do you have a copy of the tender too? And if anyone else out there has any drawings or photos of Prince at all, please contact me. I could do with all the info I can get.

My email address is chris@eden-green.co.uk

 Sorry, had completely forgotten about the tender. Will email then today.

A trainz version of Prince has been completed but not quite sure when it will be available.
