Are you willing to share them in some more known format like .3ds, cause im thinking i i could use a fairlie and other few locos and then few carriages for Custom Graphics For Locomotion?

Sorry, but I wouldn't really be happy issuing models in that format.

From your post, can I take it that you can import your own models into Locomotion?

cheers

Locomotion uses a tonne of sprites rendered from 3d models.

Well format doesn't matter as long 3dsmax can open them(obj,3ds,max to name a few). The Passenger wagons and the "Fairlie" is something im intrested in largely.

No, I'm not willing to release my models in any format that could be loaded into a 3D modelling package.

If I do get the game, then I may see how easy it is to convert things over, although, I would expect I would have to alter the models to make them suitable.

I meant kind of privately, and the models wouldn't practically need eny glorifying or anything, as Loco uses Pre-rendered 3D(in other means, renders of models in right angles and sizes).

I think you should use the PM button to send any models, so you don't end up giving em to everyone.

? Methinks a. you cant send attachements on a PM. b. why not email it? andc. the issue is not giving out the models, thats fine they are there to download as freeware, the question concerns the 3dc files, the blueprints if you like for the models....

Imagine the difference between Microsoft giving out MS Word, and giving out the coding for MS Word... same principal.

Hear hear .... :)
Even more than MS cos (lets all remember) they do it for profit. Unlike Kevin Martin who, I imagine, spends 1000s of hours building these super models and gives them away free to all of us. I have quite a collection of Narrow gauge locos and coaches etc, all free, thanks to him.
I for one am very gratefull and wouldnt dream of trying to convince him to give out something in a way that he wasnt happy with. Some people just cant take NO for an answer.

I did take the no for answer, BornAcorn just posted after me, i didn't continiue. And yes i do know the time it takes to do a good 3D model, i just asked you if you would let me use yours, and you said no, and i am fine with it. End Of Discussion.
