Looking good, wish I had been quick enough to get a test version

I noticed that there was a shunt signal in one of the pics, will the route have a moderate amount of signalling,

Anyway, excellent

Whats the release date if you have one yet :-?

maxtedrw,
I have been waiting for about one mounth or so to beta test your route, still looking forward to it but I have not received the CD. I have sent you the email about this but said you would send it in the next few days, that was a mounth ago, or even more.

Ok, back to the good bit,
Finished route looks GREAT. Keep up the good work :D

Thanks,
Sorry to spoil the mode,
James

I know James. Sorry. Its been quite a month. I have kept doing just a little bit more etc etc.... and also getting diverted into going flying.

Yep I have used modified BR shunting signals as the route signals. I have run up some test activities with some AI services as well to see if the signals create any problems. It all seems to work OK although I suspect its not bullet proof.

email to texture authors hopefully going out tonight. I'm still at work at present so I may not get chance to do the final route testing and compaction till the w/end. After which I'll send it on for upload.

Thanks for the comments, they have kept me working on it when its become a grind.

CD sent today for uploading

Its not 100% by any means but its good enough for a first release for you all to have a go with.

I'd welcome any comments that people have.

Things never stand still.

I have been mucking about with sound files using a sound editor and have made some better sound files for the route. Added them to my version and they add shed loads of "atmosphere" so at some point I shall post a add-it -yourself update to the sound as the current version is pretty silent !

Also I forgot to make a note in the readme that anybody is free to help themselves to any of the shape files and / or textures that I have made. At some point I may also post all of the source files for them.

This is particularly so for the sniw and night textures and the seasonal textures for the vegetation. I have made the relevent textures for lots of the common used files so it may be worth having a look at UKbushline.ace and the various tree texture mods in the relevent directories. That might save some effort or form the basis for better versions.

I am also working on a signal box for Summit and about to have a go at a texture for a transfer scree slope which might be useful.

eh, bit like me dads model railway. Never finished.

I see it available for download. Very nice. What is actually included? Are stock and activities included? If not, what stock is recommended?
