things of note for all activity creators.

1) David is used for pasenger surveces:
robert for shunting:
baxter to bring in the engines morning crew to Davids docks and the engines:
John is used for everything. (when its actually working):P
2) John is the one that usually breaks down (i wonder why)
3) freight going from the jlr to the b&sr is usually transfered indirectly via the sidings at Michael Town. so its a good idea to have some emptys there. though this isnt always the case.
4) passenger trains leaving from Davids docks leave from the left if there going west up V3 track or from the right (the platform with no building on it) if they are heading north (up V2 track)
5) dispite what it looks like passing point is actually dead centre of the north line in turms of running time. (this is shere luck) :D
6) there is a passing point just after Michael town. so if theres an engine in the station the returning engine must wait there.

*important*
all engines face towords Davids docks exempt David
JLR engines never go through the tunnel so stay on V3 track

Hi all,
Rught then, I've just started thinking about the fist activity that I wish to write, (Been at work all afternoon, Part timer). I'm thinking of a passenger run from Hollingsworth to Davids Dock, followed by a run-round and then continuing towards the quarry. What I would like to know HOW do you write in a run-round to Activity Editor, every time I try it, (reversing paths) it screws the sim up. Any help?

I have also decided to write a what if activity, here is a little background on this particular activity:

Year 1932.

The B&SR has come under new management , Colnel Holman F Stephens.
As part of his programme of improvements he has Borrowed the Kerr Stuart diesel machine thingy from Wales. Two days after its arrival (Clap of thunder, Lotus Seven speeding towards cammera, Ron Grainer music starts playing, Lotus drives through Sixties London, man hands in reesignation, drives through London again, gets home, starts packing, gets gassed and fall unconcious) it is being tested on a slate run from the Quarry to the Transhipment sidings with the JLR.

Here is where YOU come in, you are the driver of the big grey diesel, BUT only from david's dock to Michael's Town! Oh yeah! the Diesel is facing the Wrong way round (Silly delivery men offloaded it from the ship like that!)

If your interested in this activity please Say so.

i found that whenever you reverse direction in msts the stupid auto time table thing stars running backwards, creating impossible time tables. if anyone has a way round this obvious flaw in microsofts programming let us know.

Robert159:
I could tell you all about Colonel Stephens, but instead I will point you to this web site Here and you can find out all for yourself, look at the railway pages obviously that is the most important point.

Already read it, why do you think I want to do the activity based around his manegement style, buying secondhand locos and running stock into the ground.
