Right just to let you know that I now have permission for the Busy Bee as well so I'll be able to upload to UKTS with both classes. Thank you for pointing out the name plate issue, I am trying to sort it out, the Alpha file needs a bit of editing, once that is done I'll upload the nameplae .ace (Busy_Bee2.ace) for you to fix your models, the UKTS version will differ slightly by having no copper cap to the funnel, and incedentaly I think I have worked out how to remove the Funnel/cab but it will not allow a tarpaulin to be added. Any one know how to ammend the invisiwag files to create a tarp?

I've got work this afternoon so the fixing will have to be done this evening, it helps me de-stress.

No2 is virtually finished, (same class) but I'm just tweaking the .eng file for improved characteristics, will upload as soon as it is ready, probably this evening.
No3 had a slight problem, I'll post a screenie on the Yahoo group to show what I mean but it will be fixed next.

Will do for next release, ie number 3, hope you like the subtle differences between numbers 1+2. I have put the green border on so the engines can be identified.

B&SR Barclay 'David' should appear in your personal library now Robert. Feel free to replace it with your much improved version as and when ready.

Slightly yes, I deecieded that the engine would be modelled as ten years or so after number1 hence the removal of the Valance around the cab and the rusting around the bottom of the chassis, I also decided that the painters had found a tin of pea green somewhere and decided they'd RUIN the paint of number 2 (though it does help to identify the engines).
Number 3 has had it's repaint, but is now in the works for attention to it's .eng file, Current name is GARLETHIAN, as it fits the name plate perfectly, any other suggestions greatly welcomed though.
Number 7 has yet to be started, I'm still learning how to use GMax so I'll start whein I'm ready, incedentally, I now only have two days off work each week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, though these are sometimes lost due to overtime, so I'll be slowing down on the reskins.

just that a smidge of rust on an otherwise imaculate engine looks slightly odd.

i would suggest making the metal a dirtier colour and adding some textuere to it. you could also add some rust around the edges where the paint work has come off.

something else that looks good is a white stain comming down from the dome.

Robert,

The white stain should come down from where the water tank filler cap is, the stains were caused by the addition of water treatment gunk to make the water less acidic. (I have a feeling its lime based). As such the treatment powdery stuff would often spill, hence the white stains. Id be very worried if anything was leaking from the dome! :)

A more weathered version will be available soon, I'm still working on the Vertical Boilederd engines at present, but as soon as they are done, They'll be uploaded and Number 2 will be weathered.

Which engine is 'David'? Its wherever the pipe goes in from the water coloum, to fill the tank up.... On a Quarry Hunslet its bang in the middle of the saddle tank methinks!
