Go into Route Editor, right click the orange box for the crossing gates, is animate selected? If so deselect it, this should stop them swining, whilst there you may want to double check the crossing settings, to make sure its set to work as a crossing.

Hope this helps, not installed atm, as x-tracks is out for the WHR trackbash.

I'd just like to say that this is a wonderful route, I only downloaded it last night and have just finished my first run along the line, with the TSC Diema diesel, and found it to be superb. Have yet to visit the quarry area yet though but will try to do so soon. Incedentally, wouldn't it be nice if there were a patch to re-scale the WHR Garratts there are a few routes now that they could be run on.
