Just relayed Piddington station, starting to look a little more narrow gauge-ish.
Come on then Mike what’s the surprise for next year? My own hope’s are for a WD Motor Rail, like the one at the bottom

That's actually a motor rail as rebuilt after the war... the WDLR ones looked very different - but yes, I do plan to built a Motor Rail.

No hint on the surprise until it's had some work done on it though...

The viaduct does look a little silly - although Chelfham viaduct was a fairly impressive structure - try the one from swlr - it's called RDCnglongbridge - IIRC.

Hello all, I hope you had a pleasant Christmas.
I have been able to spend a little time with the route, mostly on just the one tile. All the track on this tile is now laid how I want and I have now moved on to scenery (hate this bit), I have spent some time manually editing the world file for this tile, this is to solve the problems mentioned earlier by Mike. The manual editing involved renumbering ALL the Uid numbers for each object and placing them in numerical order as “REâ€

Have moved the telegraph poles closer to the line. Also, have been messing around with the environment files and added a fifth tile for reasons which will become clear to you all later.

Looks good, but I preferred the poles in the old locations, can't have any overhang now :(

Indeed that doesn't leave alot of clearance. Hopefully BT have insured those poles  Else the Piddington'll be in a lot of trouble! I think Mike's ugly diesel is just the sort of loco for this route - personal opinion only there.

It might be better to have the poles just outside the fence rather than just inside - this would leave more room. Also it leaves it uneven there is room on the left but not on the right - could lead to some interesting carriges...

Thats a lot better and I'm sure BT'll be grateful too  Looking good I must say.

Mike, well somebody had to say it  It is slightly reminicent of a BR Shunter (08 or the like). Still its a very good loco if it lacks in looks.

A Happy New Year to you all and a few more shots of the route.
First off, I have decided to use thumbnails from now on, as the page seems to take forever to download!
Someone requested a Garrett, I believe!
Also are some shots of the reason for the extra tile, I am including a quarry and some mine workings, Penny Hassett Quarries. So a shot of the quarry workings in the background and one of the line passing a disused (and now flooded) pit, this was inspired by the flooded pit at Dinorwic.
