You can't show images from yahoo/gecotities site directly ;). May I recommend uploading to a page on your vintage weekend site, and copying from there?

I look forward to seeing this,

Will you also do Laxey MER? I would presume so because of course the MER and SMR run side by side into laxey...

It would be nice to see the MER bit of it aswell, lots of scope then for connecting trams and suchlike. Could be the basis for many an activity. Models wise, it will be a fairly easy route I would have thought, of course the most major infrastructure will be Lady Isabella (The Laxey Wheel) But if you can get that right I think it will pull the route of nicely.

Good luck with it....

A bit of a disapointmant i won't be able to do it today with my computer fefusing to delete in RE!! But i'll search to see if anyone would be in the mood to do the Wheel miners tavern & Laxey shelter & a load of over thing's!! I have been thinking about the mer there will definitly be a small bit but i'm wondering about over lapping for the Mer change over! Would it be possible for somebody to do a map of the yard at Laxey the bungalow and the summit!!

P.S. Andrew i could not find anything called "Stub point" all mine are "A(code).s". Can you help??

Thanks,

Give me this afternoon and ill do some track plans....

Id have thought the MER from Laxey Car sheds through to Little Egypt would be needed, if not further out to somewhere like South Cape - Minorca? Wouldnt you think?

FRS the bungalow has a siding on the up line (i think its the upline) although it may have been removed, it was put there for Cale in 95' as somewhere to stable the engine, the summit has a cross over... Laxey is more complex, although the SMR end of things is again only really a cross over, with the dual gauge siding. The car sheds of course come off from the (down?) line, and they have a couple of shed roads... What is more complex is the MER, although thats only a couple of running lines with a cross over in one direction i think? and of course the other end of the dual gauge siding... ooh and i think there is still a siding on the MER at dumbells row... where Lo ch used to water during steam on the MER.

I've made the MER pylons, but they'll only be availabe with Chris's ( Pitley-Falley's ) representation of the MER, included in his IOMR route :)

Just received some shots of the work :). According to Pitley, he's reached Dhoon Glen on the MER, but the only parts of the SMR he's done are in these pics :(. He's said these are the only shots he wants to release at the moment, just to show he's working on it, so here they are :).

( Thanks to Bruce for hosting )
