By south, I meant the single track section, aka: Hillary Hill farm and things in that direction :).

A gallery level would be up at the top of the quarry, with a view all the way down. No real need, just it'd be nice for some views :)

I suppose I could use it 4 storing trucks once they've got to the top. I agree it is a nice view. it's going 2 be a while b4 the next version though. I mean I’m nearly going to double the length of track (nearly). that is going 2 take some time.

Personally, I think before you extend the track, you need to finish what you've started, as some bits of the route are just bare track...

I guess you mean Imaginary?

If you'd bothered to read the topic, this could have been figured out! It says right at the start ;).

...hey :( Didn't you hear my question?! :-? :( I asked if the Incline worked on that route...didn't it say in the description of the route that there was an old incline? Or is that in the unrestrored part of the line?

The big incline is included in this version of the route. it is after the switch back and is the bit that lead's down to the entrance's to the quarry (tunnels). there is also allot of sidings down there. it's mainly the JLR that isn't included yet. oh yeah u lot dont know about that yet.

basically it's a much shorter non connected line that transfers goods to the B&SR for trans shipment to the dock. prob is it doesn't have a B&SR to connect 2 at the mo (oh dear).

if u want 2 know more about the lines FAKE history pls do tell.

Right ok, I know a little about quarries , having spent some time trying to build a rather large one in RE. Gallery levels run on ledges above the main quarry floor, they allowed slate/stone/chalk to be quarried higher up. Lots of quarries used these, the main examples being Dinorwic and Penrhyn, I believe Dinorwic raised some 2000ft on 22 levels!

At the moment your route looks more like a small mine, not a quarry, however a few more levels could really turn it into something great. Another common feature, was sorting yards, again not really present on the BSR. These allowed large amounts of goods to be sorted. They are also good fun to play with in MSTS.

These are just suggestions that you could add on to make it a really good route. I agree with David, finish the route before you extend it. No matter what you say, it doesnt really look finished in my opinion. Stuff like lineside fencing? Proper level crossings? Proper roads with car spawners? Signalling? Vegetation? These are things that arent really on the route after the big explosives factory - it all goes very barren all of a sudden.

Hope this is of help?

Christian
