Hello andrewgadd,

Just a note. MSTS doesn't like a 'one tile' route. It's very difficult to finish it without any problems. So define more than one tile, even if these tiles are not used in the futur. You can remove them at the end!

Stefan

I have started with twelve tiles which, due to the nature of the route, will allow me to expand the railway with an on going basis from upload to up upload.

Thanks for the info though.

Quick shot of Truescale Lilla at the standard gauge station on the new route, got a long way to go yet but I think I might follow this one through. (Normally get disheartened half way through and give up.)

Looking forward to it - but it's a challenge that's kept me occupied for many months now!

Here we go, now perhaps we can see the need for Truescale NG.
A shot below of the embryo new route, standard and narrow gauges together, with a Nag on the mainline in the background.

Hmm, nice. You've managed to use the 'standard' NG track texture with a decent SG track tex. I didn't know this was possible (Blaneau uses a horrible NG track tex) :(

How did you achieve that as I thought you were limited to 1 acleantrack.ace set per route.

UKFS - that uses a different texture file altogether.

It is just the track texture found on the Ffestiniog website renamed for Truescale NG.
Do you recognise your wooden sleeper loading bays (Highworth branch); they have NG rails laid over them but are not very visible.

The SWLR is going on a CD on Sunday - as al alpha version to be distributed with Haute Somme.

I still have some residual signalling issues, and I'm just working through them now. Here's a new station - Riverside.

<IMG width="714" height="542" SRC="http://album.atomic-systems.com/showPic ... tation.jpg">

Leaving Riverside, the train crosses another trestle bridge.

It's on a curve - and I've nailed this now.
<IMG width="510" height="308" SRC="http://album.atomic-systems.com/showPic ... bridge.jpg">

Martin, don't fiddle about with components, lay the track, over the gap, and take a shot from straight above - then send it to me and I'll build 'em for you bespoke.

Cheers

Mike

Okey dokey Mike. I'm just off to the SVR for the weekend in a minute, so I'll tackle this on my return.
