Some good steam loco sounds.

Post by andrewgadd »

Has anybody else tried substituting the sounds from the Denver & Rio Grande Western K-36?
( K36_483.zip or K36_487.zip ) at Train-sim.com in to some of the marvellous narrow gauge loco’s.

Linda & the Fairlie’s sound good with the smaller wheels matching the beats well and the blast stops when you shut the regulator. But Oooh that chime whistle on Mountaineer!!!!!!!

Just remember this beast is the size of a 9F 2-10-0 so the beats may be correct, but the overall sound is probably a bit heavy for typical UK Narrow Gauge
