Welsh Highland Railway Route

Post by BruceB »

Following The Pics Of Kevin's New Garrett, I thought I start a topic about the future of the WHR Route.

As far as I'm aware there is no-one doing the route, and while some attempts have be made we've never really got very far.

I am prepare to produce 3D models for such a route, and if someone could drive Route Editor then we could get this project off the ground.

The Route Builder needs however to be dedicated to the project, and know the railway reasonally well.

Anyone?

Please don't revive old threads, if they where needed, someone will revive them. But reviving them for no reason is silly and childish.

I revived it because no one had volunteered. But how can they if they can't see it?

Too be quite honest I cannot see the harm in bumping up a topic like this.
Not all new members will take the trouble to look through every topic on the forum and somebody may have joined recently who might like to to have a go at the route!

(We do seem to be getting a very intolerant bunch of people in here.)

Cheers

Hmmmm. The WHR seems to be the hardest route yet, we've had many attempts but none succesful :( Perhaps Colin might do it when the Ffestiniog is done but I don't think that will be too soon.

I would offer however ive still got Southwold to finish which is hitting a couple of probs of late. But then I also have a very busy year coming up as am going into Upper Sixth form...

Fair play and good luck to whoever does attempt it.

PS> Personally im not bothered about something like this reappearing, it keeps the interest in what will hopefully be a very interesting project.
