Loss of Power after running round trains

I have experienced a loss of power from some narrow gauge locomotives on running round the train and attempting to move off, pulling from the other end. The locomotive either wont move or will move at 1mph on full regulator and with full forward gear.

Has anyone else experienced this and does anyone have a solution

MSTS Doesn't work very well going backwards..don't thikn there is a solution, other than having 2 locos 'Top 'n' Tailing' a train. Which locos d you get it wit? And is it only NG?

Generally smaller locos and I tend only to use narrow gauge engines anyway. I appreciate that going backwards in MSTS requires significantly more steam than going forwards but when I run round the train just wont move

Same thing happened to me with EM in the Ffestiniog activity. I ran round and could barely move!! I managed to get it into the wrong siding and then got stuck :-?

Well known MSTS 'bug' which improved after installing the patch from MS.

Check the MS site for patch ....

Kevin's NG logo's and stock suffered much less from this than standard gauge stock for some reason ....

The front coupler worked better as well ....

Again it all comes down to the MSTS front coupler problem. I Generally find that if the engine wont move off, uncoupling again, moving forward and re coupling will sort out the problem. This may just be me though!

Sometimes some people have found that setting off very very gently can also work. It is a well known bug and should have been fixed long before the game left MS. Hopefully the current alpha/beta testers on MSTS2 will not let such things pass again.
