Talyllyn No6 - Douglas..... Photo Request

Post by spontin »

I'm looking for some recent photos of TRNo6 in the guise of Douglas ( and not Duncan).
All the photos I've found on the web are not suitable ( too far away, a bit grainy etc). Ideally photos front, back, left & right are the ideal result but I know most people don't take them this way... :D

Any help appreciated.........(Duncan would do at a push but I'm hoping someone will have some recent stuff of No6 as Douglas.)

No prizes as to why I'd like them

i have no photos of Douglas....but I got plenty of Duncan! :D
They are from the Railway Series, and very accurate too

Hmm...I wonder...
Are you going to MAKE Douglas (No. 6) for MSTS? If not who's gonna do that? :-?
Midlander would be nice too
:fadein: (Need reskins of a few more engines to complete the Thomas NG bit) :fadein:

I'm not going down again till mid-August - and I don't do time travel so it would be Duncan - but I can take some bespoke shots if you tell me exactly what you want. (Don't tell anyone, but the face is removeable!).

In the meanwhile I'll look through my older stuff and put your request on the (12" to the Foot) TR Discussion Group.

See you there John.

There's a one in three chance that I'll be the guy in the dark suit with the green flag and whistle. You'll find me at the Tywyn end of the train!

I'll be stopping at Tynllwyn (Rhydyronen). How about you?

You may know that I am an anti-Thomas kid but lets not persue that argument thankyou very much :-? I hope It'll be Nos 1, 2, 3 and 7 when I go since 6 is in TTTE.

Isn't it 4 locos and 3 sets of coaches on the summer peak times on the TR?

Thanks for the offers but I think I've managed to get all I need from the various photos I've found. Douglas is up and running with only the pipework to do - which is going to be a pain !! :-?

Ooooh. I'll be going twice, once on the Friday and once perhaps on the Tuesday. I hop I get the shuttle on Tue and the 4,3 on Fri. Shame you won't be there. Aka When I needed a neighbour, where you there?

Just wondering :-? would that be a "talyllyn" Duncan? Or a "Rev. Awdry" Duncan? (We were expecting the one from the books, and from the tv show 8) )
