Blyth and Halesworth Problem!

Post by jdtech »

I have downloaded Blyth and Halesworth for my truescale route but when I select my route and my activity and it starts to load the activity. It minimizes and says failed to find blytheng.sms and failed to find haleswortheng.sms (I put double heading), I have copied the Scotsman cabview and sound folders into the Halesworth/Blyth folders but to no avail. After those to errors it says "Failed to create cabivew"

John,

I don't know what the problem may be, I will have a look at the files in my Blyth and Halesworth folders tonight when I'm back home. This is the first time I've heard of problems with these engines.

They run fine on my setup!

The thing is is that it wants this file called haleswortheng.sms which I believe is something to do with the cabview and then it can't find it. That means it cant create a cabview. I look in my Halesworth folder and haleswortheng.sms isn't there and in my Blyth folder the blytheng.sms isn't there either. They are the first locos I've seen without Cabview and Sound folders

They work fineish now. The only trouble is you can't hear the sound inside the cab but I never use number 1 anyhow.

I did a bit of shunting around on my route and found that if you had one of the locos coupled up to 2 coaches and the loco was facing into one of the coaches if you uncoupled the end coach as soon as you moved it coupled back up :x

John,

The coupling problem is common within MSTS, have you downloaded the patch from the official microsoft website? If not i suggest you do so.

If you are still having problems with Blyh and Halesworth, then give me a shout, both of mine have cabview and sound folders, which is odd.
