well, I downloaded FfestiniogAlpha.zip so I guess that is the filename. I have just finished driving one of Kev's as yet unreleased models all the way to Blaenau - seemed like an opportune time to test em both out - and, as Colin said, its a bit bare in places, but the basics of an absolutely fantastic route are there, and I can see this becoming a route learning tool in time, as he's been so thorough with place names etc. Keep fingers and toes crossed anyone who doesn't download this now, this route is going to be an absolute corker when its done.

Talking of which, Kev; I'm going to the FR next weekend for a couple of weeks. Anything in particular that requires photographing for models can you let me know before next friday.

AND I got my name in the credits :)

http://www.bargepower.co.uk/downloads/F ... gAlpha.zip is where it tries do download the file from and it says it cant find it. I dont know why? Getright and Download Accelerator both say the URL is in correct or that the filename is. Can anyone shed some light on my problem?

If you need to use a download manager, Fresh Download works fine http://www.freshdevices.com/freshdown.html as it can download password protected files. Just add http://www.bargepower.co.uk/Downloads/d ... _login.htm under the options/site password tab in Fresh Download, add your username and password, then download by clicking this link http://www.bargepower.co.uk/Downloads/F ... gAlpha.zip

Works for Me!

Just downloaded it, I love broadband!

Another excellent route, well done. I'll have to try very hard with Leighton Buzzard to keep up with this standard!

Cheers

I tried to log-in with my username and password and just get 'page not found' all the time. I thought the ISP had pulled the plug after an hour of downloads :(

I'm using GetRight to download my files. Download is called FfestiniogAlpha.zip which I presume is correct. I don't know how I got it to work but it has! Currently 5.54MB at time of writing.

With GetRight I presume you can resume downloads, i.e. I get to say 30MB ISP hangs and I try again, will getright remember where I was?

I HOPE IT DOES!

Downloaded and installed last ngiht. Fantastic! Scenery is truley excellent. I can't wait for the finished version of this route.

However, I have found a rather humorus bug. Either there was a problem with scaling them up, or the welsh dairy farmers have been breeding giant sized cows!

Also, I just ran a farlie with five coaches over Minford level crosisng and thye all derailed. Any ideas?
