The tower needs to be turned on in the activity - by default they are set to empty - this could be fixed before beta release...

Hi,

As far as I can tell the water tower at TYB is turned on in the alpha - there is a known bug in the RE which means that it looses data when you change the settings for a pickup object (such as a water tower), and I think this has turned off the water tower at Port. The only way around this is to manually edit the Track Database File.

For TYB you have to line up the fill point on the engine exactly or it won't take on water (I realise that this isn't easy):

If you cruise past at 1mph or so... with the 't' button held down, you will see when the crane comes across.

I could pick up water at T-y-B and minffordd but not at Port.

Interesting Screen name! Ne Talyllyn Connection?

I managed to drive the whole of the Southwold at 15-17 mph... 43 mins of driving, to try and do timings at line speed! Nearlly killed me it did! :roll:

YAY I got the water I got to the end. Now I have a new problem. I decided to do the next module down train off I set from Blaenau round the lake approaching the deviation tunnel. Imagine my surprise when Taliesin came out of the tunnel and ran into me. I've tried waiting at Tanygrisau but still got hit and the points wouldn't change.

I believe you can fix that in Activity Editor :) The path at the points for the AI train has to be changed and then you will be able to travel non...err...crash :grab:
