I dont think theres such a thing as uniformity on the FR.uniformity rules when it comes to rakes of carriages

I was engine cleaning on the FR las weekend and it appears that all the modern stock with the exception of 122 is painted same marron and cream livery. 122 has been repainted in an experimental livery with cream doors it has also been compleatly rebuilt inside with high back seats.

Rebuilt???? I didn't realise 122 had even made it into service yet!! Its certainly had the all cream doors since it was first painted, being the first carriage built since the new Disability regulations came into force - the same reason the carriage has lit footsteps - all a touch OTT for a heritage line in my opinon but there ya go! I think the high backed seats were installed new. This carriage has had one of the longest gestation periods of any that I know: at least one has been built from scratch and 2 rebuilt in the time since this carriage was started.
