The only place I can think Quarry Hunslets would be used on the WHR would be the Bryngwyn Branch. If you created the Bryngwyn Branch then you could have a quarry at the end where they could work.

If you're doing the current WHR then velinhelli was on drive an engine at Dinas at the superpower weekend. I suppose you could do what they do on the FR and have a non stop run. There were two quarry hunslets working in the quarries at Bryngwyn they were built to a low profile to work through a very small bore tunnel.

Also, while we are talkin about Quarry Hunslets on the WHR, don't forget to send Alice to Ben Fisher, Tim! I was suprised he put up Velinhelli, but you can't have one without the other! (Alice went to the WHR (Caernarfon) in 1998)

You forget that Gelerts Farm is also home to Lady Madcap or the remains thereof, so in thoery you could do a 'WHR in 2010' activity with the K1 and Lady Madcap and all sorts of engines like that in it!

I going to model these engines when i've finished Alice and Alan George. There's very little info available on these engines so far i've only found four photos.
