One Daz...it's Giesl Ejector (if I remember right)
Two, I don't think Kevin is making ET with the Giesl. He said that the new ejector didn't do anything to help the engine. It sucked.
(I don't remember who told me that about the Giesl Ejector, but I know someone told me)
BTW Daz I'll wait for Edward Thomas...Corris #4 looks really hard to reskin anyways.
(I wonder what green we'll use on Peter Sam/Stuart ?

The ejector didnt 'suck' that would defeeat the whole idea of an exhaust
however it didnt really make the huge savings we thought it would... Basically when it was life expired (after 9 years or so) it was not rebuilt... it wasnt worth it for the savings we made on it! And it ruined the look of no.4. So instead we dropped the old funnel back onto it.
Peter Sam was red, and Stuart was a sort of Malichite green slightly washed out and a bit more yellow, if i remember. Corris 4 doesnt look that hard really. Im about to turn it British Rail Black and GWR Green... which should be fun!

(Just to piont this out.) I think that Peter Sam is being made GREEN first.
What shade of green I don't know...but I'm making Stuart the same color only mabe add a bit more dirt to him as he worked a lot of the time nears "the mines in the hills".
What I ment by "hard to reskin" was the fact that there are SO MANY PARTS!
I don't know where each part of the ace file goes where! So I don't want to put things in the wrong place.
I'm beter off reskining coaches and rollingstock...but I want to try it with an engine first.
And if it the paint job sucks...you can tell me to take it off.

All,
Just a quick note to tell you that i have mailed Kevin the files for the Black Version of Corris No.4, and am working on the Green Version this evening (its all gone a bit wrong due to the black edging whcih basically keeps the colour in! now being the same as the colour inside it so all the green is leaking out!)

Sillyevan27:
imagine I had an imaginary bit of black paper with a white square on it...
if i coloured the square in black with a fill tool... so the whole bit of paper was black, and i then used a green fill tool in that square the whole paper would go green becuase i had previously turned it all black... Now because the texture files for Corris 4 are black when i went to make the black version there were no problems. However ive now gone to fill it in green and all the black bits have gone green.... That would be fine except that I dont want the ALL to go green, just some of them.... green smokebox doors dont look very good.
The best way I could describe it was that the green was leaking out!
However Kevin has sent me a new one so i can start again.
