After the popularity of the standard gauge version, i thought id set up a seperate one for thosewho run narrow gauge routes on MSTS.
Couple of easy ones for starters: Corris No.7, and a model of Sir Haydn in her current appearence, i.e taller cab further set back?

I have an idea for you.

I am not sure if you have made 15inch guage locos but what about making a model of Cromwell. Cromwell was re guaged from 2 foot guage to 15inch and was made by Ruston Hornsby. It has recently moved from the Evesham Vale light railway to the Markeaton park light railway. Its a diesel in a black livery. It may be worth a look into. The pictures of it in the black livery are not up on the markeaton railway website yet but I am sure they will be in the near future.

Thanks

Paul

I may have some other ideas for you. They are 15inch guage locos found at the Evesham Vale light railway. There are many locos I would be dying to get my hands on if they were produced. These locos include RH Morse, Dougal, St Egwin and Prince William. Prince William should not be too hard to make as he is a scaled down verson of one of the LMS classes.

Regards

Simon

Princd william started life as a model of a black 5 that was lengthened wasnt it? nice loco, dougal is also nice, though i preffered her as she ran at longleat!

Are you going to have a go at creating them?

I think you've grabbed the wrong end of the stick, the wishlist is for people to write down what they would like to see, hence my suggestions, ive never done a model in my life, no good at that kind of thing.

If its any consolation, some of my early models were unfinished versions of both Steggy and Dougal.

Sorry Paul, I misread your posts.

Ben could you make St Egwin available as it's great.

I'll see about finally finishing Steggy off, It's quite a poor model compared to my current standards.

I would like to see the Ruislip Lido diesels as Mad Bess and the coaches are available what about the powerful diesels. (And little Robert of course!)

Guys,

You've probably heard this before, but why not get yourself a copy of TSM/3DC and just give it a go? Generally people build models that they want to. Before the modelling even starts a lot of research has to go into each loco/piece of rolling stock, gathering of plans, details and pictures. This can be quite a laborious task even when you are creating a model for yourself, let alone for others.

And saying your no good at that type of thing really isn't an excuse, we all have to start somewhere. Something like TSM is easy peasy to learn and you can slowly move up through detail levels, everyone around here is a very friendly bunch and will help where they can.

Please don't take this as having a go, its just the point of view of someone who has spent hours, days and months modelling for the narrow gauge scene. And yes, I understand this is a 'wish list' but having been here for quite a few years now, chances are most of your requests will fall of deaf ears.

Well said Ben. For the record, I did have a go at building Lady of the Lakes a few years back, but was never happy with the model so never released it. I would say I'll have another look at it but sadly I now have more important things to fill my life with than computer games, such as a degree...
