This loc was one of twenty bought by the NS just after WW II from an armydump near Paris. These were former USATC-locs build bij Whitcomb. The NS withdrawn the locs from service in 1961-1962. This loc has been built by me, with the (day)cab by Henk van Willigenburg. I adjusted this cab for the nightviews.
Another BIN-ready product that can be downloaded on the forementioned site is a NS-DMU, DE5, build in 1940, that only went in service after the war due to fuelshortage. This DMU has moving (sliding) doors. It comes in 3 liveries: the original olive-green with red striping (until the late '50-s), blue with yellow striping (including a "moustache")(from halfway the '50-s until the late '60-s) and red with the same yellow striping (from the beginning of the '60-s until they went out of service in 1975). This model has been built by Bernard Stegmeijer, also with a cab by Henk van Wiligenburg.
