Hello all,

MSTSstudio is proud to announce that the Europeanbahn Xmas 2009 activity pack promotion video is now live on our channel. All content is by EB and the video shots and editing all done by myself:

(video removed due to copyright issues with audio content)

Enjoy!

A nice little creation, that (your film, that is!).

Good to see some WIAs (cartics) again - I think there were some in a pack released ages ago but the precise details elude me (easily searched for on the forums, though). Any chance of seeing some close-up still shots of these? They are right at home on my Oxford route - the 'Mini' train from Cowley.

Is it me, or is the music in that video pinched from Simcity4?

thank you for the comments,

alexnick - yes..and no.. It is in fact direct from Mr. J Martin's (the composer of simcity and the sims tunes) website of where you can freely get the tracks from.

yerkes - thank you :) I assume the BMW Mini Cowley no longer has a freight flow from the low resources on site...or is the operation just cut down?

Not sure, to be honest - someone else here may know. I haven't seen it for some time but then for some time now I haven't travelled between Didcot and Hinksey Yard at just the right time to catch it!

Nice clip there pal. I have a question and my apologies if it sounds silly but does the Class 92 that comes with the pack have a custom cabview and if so, whats it like?

It's a nice vide, and the EB pack looks good.

However - I have issues with the soundtrack. Did you download the music from this page (http://www.jerrymartinmusic.com/music_demo.php), because at the bottom it states clearly that copyright applies and transmission is prohibited. Could you put my mind at ease?

Tubemad,

I thought I would give you some advice about the music in that video.

Going by what I have read on the "Terms Of Use" on YouTube and the DMCA section, I think that by using this soundtrack in your video, it might be falling foul of the copyright laws if the music file came from that website in question which if the original author of the music track knows that you are using their work against their wishes. They can in turn file a DMCA notice against your video and this can lead to your video being taken down or muted. This is why I tend to stick with just using the original audio from MSTS in my videos as then, I know that no copyrights are being violated then.

But I do have some useful information though, Youtube does offer the audioswap facility which means that you can change the audio on this video without the need to take it down and reupload it. The only downside is that you might get an advert placed next to your video :).

Sorry James, but the site's home page clearly states:
This web site is for demonstration purposes only. All names, images, music, audio and video is owned by respective copyright owners. Duplication or transmission of content is prohibited.
so I'm going to have to pull the video.
