Hi, a short little video from the route i've been building for the last 8 months. About 4 mins long it covers the part of the route from Bristol-Bath Green Park.
Go to

to see the video.
I've also started uploading some screenshots which can be found on:
http://clivesgallery.fotopic.net.
Hope you like them and thanks to the original authors of rolling stock and scenery that make MSTS so long lasting.
Cheers, Clive

Re: Bristol-Birmingham
Hi,
I've laid the track as far as Blackwell with the Lickey incline which is pretty accurate at 2.6% and 2 miles long!!!!
Scenery is as far as Stoke Works Junc and signalling etc as far as Ashchurch.
Thanks to Simon Barnes gave me scans of the route as far as i've got, which makes the track layouts pretty accurate and based around the 30's. Although my target is the 60,s
I've not really boasted this route until now because basically MSTS can mess up and waste 1 year? 2 years? graft and no compensation
I'm aiming to finish the line to Blackwell by the end of Jan 2010 and then hopefully my daughter will bring out the book i've bought from Amazon so i can lay the route into Birmingham.
In the meantime the scenery will be finished with the help of google earth and while checking the route i'll up date videos, screenshots, and route maps.
Cheers, Clive

All we'd need is a model of Big Bertha to get us up Lickey Bank
