A problem.
The Readme states that VM Tracks is required and quotes http://www.trensim.com as a source. This site seems not to be available at the moment. As an alternative it is suggested that Globals.zip be downloaded from http://www.train-sim-academie.fr
I have downloaded and opened this file and it contains a number of add-on utilities; what is not clear is whether loading all these satisfies the needs of LaMure v.2. I cannot see any reference to VM tracks in this Global folder.
The ReadMe makes clear that the route may not run on a low spec PC.
and recommends a graphics setting of around 3 and disabling Dynanic shadows.

As I understand it the VM tracks data is only available form the Spanish Train Sim site which is listed as http://www.trensim.com This is also what comes up on Google; but the site is not working. However, I understand from our good friend Chenas that the necessary data will be on a revised edition of the Globals.zip which will be available in a day or so from
http://www.train-sim-academie.fr
I have been translating the Installation and Activities Descriptions from the La Mure downloads, but I cannot run the route to check anything without VM - frustrating !

The size of the file to be downloaded for the route puts it out of reach of many simmers who do not have broadband. This is one of those routes which would be very attractive if available on a CD!

Ron, I am sorry that you have been upset by the complicatuins od la Mure.
Having travelled the route on occasions and having run the V1 MSTS route I have found it to be worth the hassle. However it would be a great help if it were available on a CD with all the necessary add-ons. Knowing how easy it is to copy a route on to a CD (or two CDs) as I have done for routes that I have downloaded, as a back-up; it looks to me as a relatively easy thing to do; failing that it would be good if authors of routes were willing that their work could be copied and passed on so long as money did not change hands.
I had problems downloading the Vivarais route as well, but it was well worth it in th end

Hooray!!
La Mure is up and running.
I temporarily renamed the MSTS Global folder and installed in its place the one downloaded from http://www.train-sim-academie.fr > Telechargements > DIVERS . la Global --- ( deleting the 'startup' file )And La Mure runs; Route Riter could find no errors either.
There are a lot of t.section files in my new Global folder, I hope that does nt cause problems and I just hgope that I do not find files missing when I want to run other routes. But for now je suis contente.
