Hi all,
I've already got ProTrain Rhine Valley, I'm interested in getting at least one German/Austrian route, possibly two. I would like a double track, electric main-line/inter-regional route with loco-hauled InterCity working, heavy freight and impressive scenery. I have a list of the ProTrain titles, but I don't know Germany very well so I'm not sure what the routes are like.
Please could someone kindly explain each title to me, and basically tell me if they're any good and if they fulfill my above criteria?
Many thanks,
Seb

Hi
I haven't got time to go through all the titles at the moment, but to give you a bit of help, as far as I'm concerned, pro train 7, this a very good route, and at the moment, I have just loaded, the new pro train 14 and as far as I am concerned, it is just as good as pro train 7. They've got all you want, however, that is my opinion, other people may think otherwise.
Cheers

ProTrain 7 is certainly one of their better ones. It certainly ticks all your boxes. Others I have liked include ProTrain10 - but that's more local running than anything else, and ProTrain 13, but that's only electrified in a small part. You can get some very spectacular scenery in ProTrain Karwendelbahn and Semmeringbahn, so they might be worth a look. The other add-on worth considering would be ProTrain 5 (Berlin-Dresden) - the scenery isn't so interesting - it's pretty flat - but I think it has an interesting range of stock.
Hope this helps somewhat.
