Train store & pro train

Can anybody help? I have been running German railroads plus pack 2 add-on, for some of the German railroads series through train store, virtually everything worked perfect. My question is this, I have bought pro train extra 6 activity pack, I want to load the pro train add-ons to play it, does pro train work ok with train store, as I believe I have read somewhere it doesn't.

If it's any help, I am currently running Pro Train 4, 7, 8 and 10, plus all my other add-ons via trainstore and have not suffered any ill effects.
I also noticed that in at least one of the Pro Train Manuals, it made reference to not recommending trainstore. Not sure why this would be the case, other than perhaps from a support perspective from Pro Train.

I've got loads of their addons and never had a problem with Train Store.

I've just bought pro train 13 and the booklet says unsuitable for train store but on trying it with train store it works perfect so can't see what the problem is.

Further to my reply above to my question, i have loaded pro train 13, and pro train 2 on to train store, and so far, no problems, I will be loading more of the add-ons on as i go through pro train extra 6. I will let you know if i get any problems.

Hi Pete.
Not really just says train store may cause loading problems, but as I have said before I have no problems with it, I also have Karwendalbahn, and Semmering, they are also ok.

i have protrain 2 and 6 and train store,no problems so far.

Hi all
I loaded virtually all the pro train series add-ons from 2-11 and 13 and have had no problems with loading them on to train store, also have run pro train 12 on it very recently with no trouble.
Hope this helps somebody.

Hi,
according to Pro Train themselves, they do not recommend TrainStore. The reason is, that they do not want to offer any support concerning TrainStore. The other reason is, the German Railroads is promoting TrainStore and including it onto their CDs or DVDs. Since GR and PT are not the best of friends (to put it very mildly), PT has decided to fight it up to the point of closing threads discussing it in their own forum.
In short, it's more a personal than a technical reason PT is discouraging the use of TrainStore.
TrainStore has no influence whatsoever on the working of PT routes - none! It is a great tool and without it my MSTS would have died long time ago - go make use of it.
