I have downloaded the rousilon route from eu trainsim and also the rhones-alpes route from a french site, both have installed fine, however when I come to run the explore route it quotes "train world initialisation failed". Is there something I have done incorrectly when installing? I hope this is the correct forum for such matters.

I dont know the route....but that sounds like missing env files...is there a readme with the route....and does it give any instructions?

I can't give you any accurate advice concerning RhÃ´ne Alpes as I deleted it from my disk but perhaps the cause is the same as for the following
For Roussillon, after having experienced there were 2 different versions 2.1, I checked the right version 2.1 when I downloaded the route some weeks ago on the Library. Personally I did not encounter any problem when installing.
The problem you quote is often caused by a corrupted download when a particular file is missing. First try to check the route with Route Riter. Check also if you have downloaded the activities and services included in the information pack. A route whithout activity and services folders can't work, create at least this folders even if they remain empty. If the problem is not solved, I think you have better to download again and proceed to a new installation.
