I was alsways frustrated by the gap between PT1 and Wupper.

All what will improve the Wupper is a good new. I do appreciate this route, but I think it begins to become a little bit complex to have a full control upon it. I never thought realizing an activity for this route unless, perhaps, to focuse just on one place of the map or just to run express trains from one point to another. Besides, I am less fluent in German than in English or in Italian. And when I realize an activity for a "foreign" route I prefer realize it with the language of this country (or in english). Seldom in French, for the great majority of French train simmers are only interested with french routes.

This is fantastic news- the completion of the busier Düsseldorf - Duisburg - Essen - Dortmund route is particularly pleasing as well- now we can run some really long multi-route-spanning activities.

Glad to hear that Wuppes is going beyond version 7.0. The run from Dortmund to Munchen Gladbach is my fave route at the moment, with lots to do when you run large freight traines.

Hi All,
Wow what a super route, comes close to 10/10, and its 'Freeware' ! It is a huge route with massive freight and passenger roads, and should satisfy both the freight freaks and the passenger train lovers. It will probably take weeks to cover the whole route properly. There are maps in PDF format, but the print on them is very small. Some of the nicer touches are a working fairground, and an airport with planes you can see landing on the runway. There is also a file containing virtually all the stock you will require, plus about 10 activities (2 only in English). All in all an excellent route and the authors should be thanked for giving it away to us.(Have sent a thanks e-mail).

Hi,
All files now on http://www.train-sim.com as well as http://www.thetrain.de 'Ottodaddy' reports, about 1200 downloads of this route in one day from 'thetrain.de site and the USA boards are full of praise also.

Can anyone provide a list of German stock that I could download as a basis for for this route. Just some general stuff initially until some activites come out.

I know very little about German Railroads but have used the route from Dusseldorf to Cologne on a couple of occasions and would like to have some fun with this route.

Thank you

EDIT

Never mind I found the Activity pack and stock pack when looking a little further ito the download section on train.de...

Still if anyone has some other suggestions :)

Hi Stephen,
On the 2 sites above there is a 'Train-Pack' file that has about 80% of the German stock, plus a list of where to get the rest from. There is also a 12 Activities file on the same sites.
Ron

EDIT:- LOL, you must put your EDIT up as I was replying.
