La Tarentaise

Post by pepsipowell »

La Tarentaise is a French route still under development - see http://membres.lycos.fr/voieferree/DownloadMTS.html for details. It is not totally finished but looks very good so far. The reason I mention it is because it contains the final destination of the Eurostar 'ski trains', which I travelled on a few years ago with my family (see my activity http://www.uktrainsim.com/filelib-info. ... ileid=5075).

This web page has not changed since the beginning of the year, and I seem to remember from a french forum that the author stopped for his exams.

Oh...

Thanks for letting us know. Do you know if he stopped permanently, or just during exams?

The author just posted this on simtrain

ie he has had to put it aside due to work and love.

My French is not great  , but is it cancelled entirely, or just postponed, i.e. "Et comme on dis, mieux vaut tard que jamais" (as they say, better late than never?)

English version:
La Tarentaise V4 is unfortunately paused. I must do my work and the another reason is love. But it's temporary because I no longer work starting from beginning of january month 2004. Thus, I will be able to continue his advance. But don't worry, I will put available her absolutely. And like we say(in France), it's better late than never !!!

Huge bump!

Just noticed on the website (http://membres.lycos.fr/voieferree/): La Tarentaise v4 beta is released! :D There seems to be a problem downloading it for me though - has anyone else managed it?

You should be able to find it under the Simtrain website (http://www.simtrain-fr.org/) under 'Les Voies'.
