Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone knows how too get locomotives too pull trains in reverse. I ask this because in one of the Nene Valley activities you have too run round the train and then pull it in reverse, and all that happens is I take up the slack and then the wheels just start skidding and the sander is of no help. Any ideas?

P.S.
I was also wondering how to get the wheels too turn at the right speed because on the Thompson B1 they turn too slowly at any speed and it just looks weird.

Your reversing problem sounds like incompatible brakes; are you coupling to a static consist, or is it one you've hauled in and are now looking to haul out in reverse?
If it's the first, check to see that the loco and the train have the same brakes, and that you have actually got the brakes fully released.
If it's the second, you've got me. MSTS will allow you to start off with incompatible couplings, but not brakes. If you got it in, you should be able to get it out...
Wheels? You'll have to talk to the loco builders about that one. It's probably the animation factor, but I've no idea how you'd deal with it.
On the other hand yours is the first mention I've seen of it; I'd have though others would have found it by now - have you tried the publisher's website forums? Unless it's EB of course...
