EMU Sounds in Making tracks' London Southeast

Hello,
Just wondered what the sound effects are like in the above add on with regards to EMUS?

I can't wait for the LSE 2 Great Eastern addon and will buy it even if the trains don't have sounds.

I only ask as I read a review somewhere else of the London Brighton route a while back including the quote 'realistic emu sounds' and when I played it I didn't think it sounded anything like the actual trains (no offence intended to anyone) as I appreciated the work involved.

Any thoughts

Hi,
I found the engine sounds from LSE to be probably the best from any commercial supplier. When I was a child living in Eastleigh I remember the 205 thumpers (which I believe were made there) used to pass the end of our road and the making tracks sound man has got them spot-on. The diesel sounds are great as are the nicely 'used' state of the models. You won't be dissappointed although this route does make quite a high demand on your computer's resources.

Personally think the sounds are great.
Never had any intrest in MUs,but i find em great fun to run on LSE,and 33 sounds are pretty thrashy!

The sounds for the Class 33's (Cromptons) on the London to Brighton Add-pack are good aswell, those 'throaty engine' noises are the best I have ever heard on MSTS, but I find that the horn sounds good but doesn't sound like a Crompton's Horn.

Hi
I have been requested to make it clear that the LSE EMU and Thumper sounds were made by Mark Wiles (MarkW)
He has also done the DEMU and DMU sounds for the upcoming Enterprise route.
The LSE Class33 sounds were by Gary Cox I believe.
Cheers
