Two Tone horns ( Seperately operated ) For British Trains

The SMS sound system in MSTS 1 has been quite well understood for some time, but there are still new things being learned as well as a wealth of information about what's already known that you can learn here.

Two Tone horns ( Seperately operated ) For British Trains

Post by nelson »

Hi All, don't know if you know about the two tone horns I've been creating? I've uploaded some, they aren't brilliant but they're better than just getting a straight forward "recording" which you have no control over. With mine you get to sound either pitched horn in any order as in real British trains.
Don't know if anyone is interested in developing this further? I'd like to know if it would be possible to use a different key for one of the tones as at present you have to "lose" the bell or DMU buzzer sound which you know is key B. I use the space bar and B key to operate the two different horns. Just requires altering SMS files ie; change or add second horn entry.

What do you reckon? Anyone interested?
