Replacement Signal Arm Clatter Problem

The SMS sound system in MSTS 1 has been quite well understood for some time, but there are still new things being learned as well as a wealth of information about what's already known that you can learn here.

Replacement Signal Arm Clatter Problem

Post by 37180sirdyfed »

Just downloaded the UK Replacement Signal Arm Clatter... followed the instructions, but now I have a problem...

As instructed, I moved the wav & sms files into the "Route Sound File"... I then renamed "signal.sms" to "signal old.sms" and then renamed the new sms file to "signal.sms".

When loading an activity.. I'm keep getting the response.. failed to find "signal.sms" file... What have I done wrong? I've even deleted the demo sms file.. but still I get the same error message...

Check your spelling, spaces etc.

it may be the space in signal old.sms thats causing it

Always cut and paste file names to avoid these problems

Thanks Ian... I had named my signal.sms file "signal.sms" instead of just "signal".. works a treat now!
