MSTS Class 50 cabview? Well certainly better than the Acela, which runs on the wrong side...

LOL... Thanks very much, but I'm afraid I'm tied, as far as cabviews go, to those that I can get access to and move all the relevant controls. So who can get me into an 81-85 cab then? Doesn't have to be running or even working as long as all the controls are present and movable.

Fodda,
If you can get to Barrow hill and talk nicely to the AC loco group they have an 84 cab there.
Alternatively, if anyone can get over there and get me some pics I would make the cabview, I am sure I could do a decent job with some pics.

You said it
I think with
'current' technology the tap changing type of controller would have to be altered to a bog standard contoller as found on diesels.
My be one day though!

Great! I'd be prepared to use that as it is!
I always liked the rats cab thats the main reason I used the class 25 in my Woodhead Activities pack.

It would appear though that in the secondone, the proportions seem to have gone a bit off. I thought the power handle was missing until I realised that what I thought was the reverser is in fact the power handle

Hi
Yes your right ,I have based the front view on the BVE 87cab...as it didn't look too bad....(and I think it was suggested somewhere on this forum.)
The question really is do you (or any other user) think it is of any use?
As there isn't a photo realistic leccy cab available at this time...or am I wasting my time.
It is progressing OK ....unfortunately added a larger HD at the Weekend and managed to trash my Windows install...but didnt loose much of what I'd done.
Having problems with the Panto button at the moment (ie it doesn't appear in view...but does work the panto...as I wanted to include a working voltage meter as well as a pair of amp meters.
Right and left views will take a little longer....as I am using screen shots taken from inside(moved the headout position) they look ok but need tidying up...and my mouse is full of cr*p and jumps.
Cheers
Jon
