Yes, I am using the Thames Mersey dvd Duchess of Hamilton. The only thing I have changed is the engine sounds.
The inconsistency between PCs does seem crop up in the forums fairly regularly, so I suppose this is another example.

I have finally located my Thames Mersey DVD and it is indeed V4.3 - so i was right all along. This activity was written for V4.3 not V4.2 but it may well still work ok as i think the changes between versions were just bug fixes. :)

Well I almost got there. I got through Crew but then ran out of coal ....................................

By the way, I don't think much of the accommodation you have given the Lord. Not even any seats for him to sit on!

Really ? I never noticed that :(
I agree though I was looking for something like an old GNR Directors Saloon or something, but there wasnt really much choice on the CD.

Not bad but you can do better than that :) Close the dampers down to 15% once you get past Tring and only open them again if it looks like steam consumption is going to exceed usage all the time :) Were you manual firing or using the AI fireman ?

Yes, but not the "lite" version!

One little tip when using the AI fireman.

Close the injectors by pressing the J key.

The AI fireman physics doesn't use it and you save 500 lumps of steam.

Finally got around to this activity and discovered it is set in BR days.

So why the LMS Horsebox?

There is a BR version available. This has a longer wheelbase so the horse will stand a better chance of surviving the 100mph running.
