New tour activity coming soon: teaser screenshots here

The MSTS Activity Editor allows you to make your own activities, or missions, for the player to complete. This is also how you can get lots of other trains running while you drive yours!

New tour activity coming soon: teaser screenshots here

Post by tubemad »

Hello all,

I'm making a railtour on DC v5, but won't say just yet where it starts from or goes to, but I will add these two pictures for now:

EDIT:

See below, thank you John

Its, obviously, 73s, but thats not all it is :P

More screenies to come soon. Guesses of where the tour starts/ends is welcome, but i doubt you'll be able to guess all the locations it visits!

Cheers,

James.

Is it one 8 hour act or 4 smaller acts that run one after the other to make the full activity?

it is over 8 hours now and now doing its return to last drop off point, to pick up, and do the set downs stops back to where you started. So you've gathered theres 2 73s and a 56.

It is split into parts, some upto an hour, some for under 30mins.

There are reversals but to cut activities being too long, they are the next 'part' instead. Good news for those who don't have MSTSBin.

Currently have Part 1a,1b, Part 2a,2b, Part 3, Part 4 done and on Part 5 which is a small one leaving only a couple more parts left to do.

This weekend I'm hoping to drive it all from Part 1 to Part 7 as the final test.

DRS. :P

Honestly, I dont think this is a good way of promoting/screenshotting your activity.

I am not a fan of the "lets take a photo of a train from 2 miles away to promote my activity".

Show me a close up screenshot of the train with chocoblock full of ai around it, that promotes and activity and makes me want to play it.

Photing it from two miles away makes me think that you are so ashamed of the activity you dont want people to see it. ;) (which i'm sure isnt true!)

RE 8 hours comment, i though you were saying it having not finished most of it. :) Its easy to say you will write an 8 hour activity - but doing it is different.

Well done with it. :)

So good he said it twice!

Anyway - its a good way of keeping the act a secret and it looks promising so far!
