Other SuO freight on the SWML I have discovered is as follows:

Passing times at Cardiff Central:
7E87 Briton Ferry - Immingham @ 1855 - the previously mentioned anthracite working.
6M45 Waterston - Glazebrook @ 2148 - loaded Oil tanks
6M14 Abercwmboi - Ellesmere Port @ 2320 - containerised household coal in FPA wagons I believe.

Pengam / Tidal area:
6B11 West Ruislip - Tidal arrival 0108 - unspecified metals working
6A10 1440 Tidal - West Ruislip - unspecified metals working
4S81 1830 Pengam - Coatbridge - freightliner

A bit more to go on there :)

WoW,

WHere did you discover that little lot??? Are they all 90's workings or is it a bit of a mixture?? I found only Coal traffic so far but I am quite limited to looking at things on internet, sites like Railway Photo Archive and class47.com. But if you know of others please pass them on.

I have loads of books and magazines (Traction, Rail Express, Rail (back in the 80's/90's when it was good) but they're all in storage unfortunately.

Great work though Richard and for that I thank you muchly.

Kind regards,

Simon

If West Ruislip is the freight sidigs on the chiltern line where the Aylebury/Banbury line split, theres usually a good few ferrywaggons hanging around. That would be the wagons to use if im right... Not sure tho, its much nearer Neasden where im thinking?

It is a bug if youve used multiple wait points to break the AI path. As you pass the AI you actually end up picking up their intended path, which explains the signal issues. Im not sure if a double reverse points causes the same result.

Ive found the solution is to end the AI path a little further past the wait points, so the train will pause for you to overtake it and then when it resumes its journey, will disappear at the end of the path. This will make your signals suddenly go green :) and if you are far enough away you dont see the disappearing train. If you want to see that AI later on, start a fresh service just beyond the finish point of the first.

I actually quite like this bug as its a useful way of introducing signal checks without the bother of a train in front. The player doesnt know there isnt another train holding him up :)

That does sound like the cause of the explanation as to why I receive a caution. Jamie Bowie also suggested that that might be the cause although I don't think he'd actually experienced the problem first hand.

I shall introduce your soloution to my A1 service and report back on my findings.

Thank you for your much thankfully received help.

Kind regards

No worries mate! Every other letter I get, and virtually all notes for me at work make the same faux pas! And as for the hilarious ''Are yo a relation of David' gag, ive started telling people hes my Uncle, altho Im not one to follow the dress code! Shuts 'em up pretty fast, penny drops, then 'No, I dont believe you!
