AE Problem with Switching Paths

The MSTS Activity Editor allows you to make your own activities, or missions, for the player to complete. This is also how you can get lots of other trains running while you drive yours!

AE Problem with Switching Paths

Post by mjt222 »

Hi All,

Iv got a problem that I have never come across before, and cant seem to find a way out, so do any of you more experienced people know of an answer. I have attached a screenshot of the issue, basically I set a path, but I want to come off the mainline into some siding, or use a passing loop and the option to "take other exit" is greyed out. Any ideas ??

Not too clear what you're trying to achieve - is the path supposed to be branching off into the bottom right track or top left? What happens if you select the spot a little to the left - does that give you any options to take alternative exits?

Thanks for these posts I had the same problem and this worked for me!

PS: I spent a long time searching for this topic with seraches like 'broken points', 'broken switches', 'Can't take other exit', 'Points in Path Editor' etc. before I finally hit the right combination.
