i was messing around with something on msts earlier and i had a thought that goes like this, if you have a standard 2 track terminus platform like this below, s meaning signal, is it possible for you to start a service on the left{player}, and a service that was programed to, come in on the right, stop, wait for you're train to go, then cross over behind you and follow you through the normal process. would the signalman allow the train to come in on the right, or would he hold it until you had left?

well yes it is look at fenchurch street london small compact and very busy but like mr new southern says it depends on what you ask it dont forget your the signalman when creating the activity aswell as the driver.
tip from my mate in sutton bridge junction signal box in shrewsbury:-
class 1 express following another requires at least 5 - 7 minutes following time or 2 signal sections with colour lights. class 2 in front of class 1 ( happens alot) 10minutes bearing in mind the class 2 express is probably 75mph

I am interested in the points about setting priorities and being the signalman as well as the driver. How do you do that?
I am currently working on an activity for the Stranraer line, which is single track, so setting priorities will probably be useful.

wrightsie, please don't post polls irrelevant to the post in question, it confuses people!
If you want to post such a poll, put it in the relevant forum and make it a post of its own.
Matt.

by being a signalman aswell as a driver it is you who sets the route for yourself and the AI trains. Oh yes and both EMU's will be here if they already are'nt as there are a number of EMU's being built already
