Dorset Coast V3 CD Activity - Problem with DC V4

The MSTS Activity Editor allows you to make your own activities, or missions, for the player to complete. This is also how you can get lots of other trains running while you drive yours!

Dorset Coast V3 CD Activity - Problem with DC V4

Post by gswindale »

When running activity 092 Alton to Waterloo under DCV4, I am immediately stopped due to excessive speed (starting speed 54mph in a 40mph zone). I've tried amending the starting speed in AE, but everytime I go back into MSTS to run the route it reverts back to 54mph. Any ideas?

Did you make sure you saved the activity again after you changed the starting speed?

I had, although saving, reloading the activity in AE has now fixed that problem, but I have now spotted the fact that the activity is starting with a speed limit of 40 when it appears that it should be a 60mph limit along that stretch of line (shortly after starting I get a 40 sign with a 60 in the opposite direction).

Maybe the line speed was changed when the upgrade to V4 was issued, perhaps for other reasons. You could drop Dave Corfield a PM and ask him to look at it for you, or maybe he will catch this post.
