Too late now, but its a good idea to save each revision with a slightly different name. I usually put Rx after the main name. Then if you screw things up - again which ive done too at times - you can just dump that version and go back to the last one and start over. Also never make too many changes at one go. Make a change, test it, if it works make the next and so on. that way its easy to remember what to go back to.
