Mid East Steam Era Activities

The MSTS Activity Editor allows you to make your own activities, or missions, for the player to complete. This is also how you can get lots of other trains running while you drive yours!

Mid East Steam Era Activities

Post by dikkidee »

Hi,

Just like to thank "Perfnet", Richard Stephenson for writing the two recently added excellent activities for this route. I have now run them both and they are really good with no problems. Very enjoyable indeed.

Thanks again.

Great Western? Is'nt that the branch line that joins the Southern at Reading?

Yes, I enjoyed both on the fine route.

Unfortunately (?) in "Up Flying Scotsman", D9018 failed at Grantham and a replacement had to be put into service.

Okay, okay, I have to come clean and admit that it left me with a sleepless night or two to use even a green diesel in an activity!

It has been brought to my attention that three items of rolling stock that I used in the Up Flying Scotsman activity have been withdrawn. They are:

10083 - D5581_Green
11773 - FDB004_N2_69576
12251 - 92212

Can I suggest that you replace them with the following items of stock (though with the caveat that I haven't tried them myself, as yet).

Finally, as one or two people have found, I will help you out if you have problems with my activities. That's why I put my contact information in every readme in every activity I release. That's what it's there for. Ranting publicly about poor activity writing elsewhere under obscurely titled threads seems to be a step on the slippery slope that has led to problems with stock withdrawal previously.

Kind regards

Richard
