WAGN 365 Kings Cross-Peterbourgh Semifast

The MSTS Activity Editor allows you to make your own activities, or missions, for the player to complete. This is also how you can get lots of other trains running while you drive yours!

WAGN 365 Kings Cross-Peterbourgh Semifast

Just installed this Activity & all the required stock including the cab & sound flies WAGN Class365 Facelift but The Cab was only sides & the controls appeared to sit in mid air No dash board or Wind Screen ,So I went back to the READ ME Files & seen the author had included modified .eng files for the 365 in the .zip, these are more or less essential, as the 365 in its download state struggles to cruise at
90mph, let alone the 100mph running needed in this activity. Copy them to C:Program Files Microsoft Games Train SimulatorTRAINSTRAINSETClass365Facelift when you have installed the 365.

I then followed the instructions & installed them as directed but No I get the Message failed to create CABVIEW & MSTS just shuts down Anybody any ideas or Similar experience ??
Regards & Best Wishes

The problem is its looking for the 357 cabview, so I changed it for the 375 cabview, you will have to download the cab view if you dont have it allready, then you will have to change the eng files so both eng files read

CabView ( class375.cvf )

make a back up of the eng files before changing just incase

Then in your common cab folder look for the folder called class 375 and copy and past the folder called Class375.cvf into the cabview folder of the Class365Facelift then it should work.

I left the class357.cvf file in the cab view folder as well.
Also not sure why but when you apply the brakes and increase throtle it does not display the %

Well some good news is that I have permission to upload an updated 365, as shown below.

Also a friend of mine is working on the problem which you are talking about with the speed. He will hopefully rectify those errors and then you can use that.

That's fantasic news Anton, those new textures really make the model look stunning! I am doing a few WAGN 365 activities for the route, which include:

Invalid File ID [14140]

Which runs fast until Hitchin

Invalid File ID [14168]

WAGN 1614 Peterbourgh-Kings Cross Slow (awaiting approval)

WAGN Kings Cross-Kings Lynn (as far as Hitchin) non stop (WIP)

I may do more if i can find any other routes/stopping patterns.

Well if you wait the 365 should be uploaded soon. Also the old 365 (pre facelift) will be uploaded with the same modifications.

Have you tried this cabview?

I know its a 465 not a 365, but they are from the same family of Multiple Units, and its close enough to be convincing.

What version of MSTS is that? Looks stunning!
I will also look forward to using that 365 on the route, can you find spare time to make the original 365 into v2 as well?

Its MSTS, how many version do you know? :o

The 365 in the picture is had all its adjustments finished, just e-mailing for permission to alter the cabview speedo to make it show 100mph.

The Original 365 before the facelift I assume you are talking about? Thats also been done.

Ok, but the MSTS thing I am talking about is the transparancy of the track viewer, it is colourful too!
