Hi Beetlejuice
How about an Activity returning from Keighley to Bradford on the Queensbury line after Keighley have just beaten Bradford Northern by 50 points!!
It should be an all Station stopper as there weren't too many people who could afford cars in those days.
The stop at Queensbury could coincide with a connecting train to Halifax from Bradford so some of the Keighley & Bradford supporters can get off the train and go onto Halifax as Halifax weren't too good in those days!!
Make your Activity in the snow around 4.30PM just as dusk is falling as the game used to finish before it got dark as there were no floodlights then!!
I used to work in Keighley and when the Queensbury line was open Keighley were a great Rugby League side.
Coming the other way you could have a mixed goods train and a stopping passenger train both heading towards Keighley from Bradford.
Now how's that for an idea all the way from Western Australia??If you send me your Activity I will test it for you too.
Kindest Regards
Mike

ok, mike, I'll see what I can do!!! I'll go and attempt to make it now, using stock from the cd. I will pm you when it's finished and sent the activity to you later. If anyone else has any ideas using stock from the Cd, I will send the 1st version to you and then hopefully fingers crossed make a pack.

Well i remember a railtour absolutely ages ago when most of you were probably still in nappies or a twinkle in your Dad;s eye
(about 35 years ago
)
It was a double headed, steam hauled, 12 coach train from keighley on an appalling winters day. The bank out of Keighley was so slippery that despite the drivers bests efforts and at least 4 attempts, they couldn't get much more than half a mile or so out of Keighley. Each time they reversed back for another run, once going way back north ( i think) of the station for a run. In the end the Diesel which had pulled us from London was hitched to the back and gave us a push for a couple of miles
I dont have a clue what the loco power was, but it stuck in my memory as was certainly a day to remember
So how about a double header, 12 coach, Autumn rain, with a Diesel on the back for a push
