How do I go about uploading the package?

The MSTS Activity Editor allows you to make your own activities, or missions, for the player to complete. This is also how you can get lots of other trains running while you drive yours!

How do I go about uploading the package?

Post by LARCO753 »

Hi all,

Well I have successfully created an activity for the WSR add on pack. I packaged it and would like to upload it so that others could use the activity.

I see I can upload it using IE and creatind a network place of UK Train Sim but how do you name your package so that it shows up in the list of files in the activity download section, add a picture and the info re what consists are required etc.

Any advice would be most welcome!

Regards,

Dave.

Hi
Im not trying to be a clever dick, but if you log in, and go to uploads, its very straight forward.
Always include a README file for what stock is required, file IDs is must. If you want to ad a pic, do a simple print screen on your keyboard when playing the activity, then paste into a simple program and save as a jpeg.
When you upload it is all easy to follow.
Also zip all files togther.

When uploading it asks you for the package first which is C:\program files\microsoft games\train simulator\routes\yourroute\activities\youract.apk

then it asks for a screen shot of the activity or a train involved in the activity.

and write a brief decription.

It'd be better to get the apk file put it onto desktop create a readme and write everything needed into the readme route stock etc.

zip it up and upload as above.
