I have read the instructions in train sim. I want to know how you can make a path say for example ballyshannon, carrick to drumcard. How can i do this using the path editor.

I want to build a freight activity and i want my train to go into a siding and pick up another consist. How can i do this.
Does anyone want to join msts ireland. it is a msn group. The address is http://groups.msn.com/MstsIreland/_

You can write notes that appear on screen saying uncouple engine from train and go to the siding, pickup the consist and come out and reverse back onto the orginial train.

If the points cannot be changed manually, you will have to use reverse points for each movement. This can make shunting activities very confusing as if you have too many reverse points in a short area MSTS seems to get confused. My advice is keep it simple.

I thought all points where manual in Ballyshannon.

Reverse points. Make sure your in path edit mode then right click on the track. You get a menu.
